Cleaning and care
To avoid damaging the external
surfaces, do not use the following:
Cleaning the control panel
The control panel should only be
wiped with a damp cloth.
- Detergents containing soda,
ammonia, acids or chlorides
Cleaning the reflector panel
- Detergents containing descaling
agents
The reflector panel for the optical in-
operation indicator light is situated on
the protective foil underneath the
worktop.
- Abrasive detergents, e.g. scouring
powder, scouring liquid, or pumice
stones
The reflector panel should only be
cleaned with a damp cloth if
necessary.
- Detergents containing solvents
- Stainless steel cleaning agents
- Dishwasher cleaner
Cleaning the appliance front
- Oven cleaner
Damage due to soiling.
Soiling that is left too long might
become impossible to remove and
could cause the external surfaces to
alter or discolour.
- Glass cleaning agents
- Hard, abrasive brushes or sponges,
e.g. pot scourers, brushes or
sponges that have been previously
used with abrasive cleaning agents
It is therefore best to remove any
soiling immediately.
- Eraser stain remover blocks
- Sharp metal scrapers
- Wire wool
Clean the appliance front with a clean
soft sponge and a solution of warm
water and washing-up liquid. After
cleaning, wipe the surfaces dry using
a soft cloth.
- Steam cleaners
A clean, damp microfibre cloth
without detergent can also be used.
