- Page 7: Indicators include rinse aid, salt, self-clean, and drying phase indicators, each indicating specific maintenance needs. The rinse aid indicator signals when the rinse aid dispenser needs refilling. The salt indicator shows when the salt container requires refilling. The self-clean indicator activates when internal cleaning is necessary with the Self Clean programme. The drying phase indicator is on during a selected drying phase and flashes while the drying phase operates. The programme selection section details various washing programmes. The Mix 60° programme is suitable for dishwashing and drying normally soiled items. The Intense 60° programme is designed for heavily soiled items. The Eco programme is the longest, focusing on efficient energy and water use for normally soiled crockery and cutlery. The Express 50° programme is the shortest option for lightly soiled loads. The Auto programme adjusts the dishwashing cycle based on the load type.
- Page 8: The appliance senses the degree of soil and the amount of dishes in the baskets. It adjusts the temperature and quantity of water as well as the wash duration. This option protects a delicate load, glassware in particular, from damaging. It prevents rapid changes in the dishwashing temperature of the selected programme and reduces it to 45 °C. You can adjust the programme selection to your needs by activating options. This option improves the dishwashing results of the selected programme. It increases the wash temperature and duration. Programme overview includes details on dishwasher load, degree of soil, programme phases, and options. Different programmes are available for various types of crockery and cutlery, with specific temperature settings for dishwashing, rinsing, and drying. Options such as Dry Assist can be activated for enhanced drying performance. The programmes cater to fresh, lightly dried-on, normal, and heavily soiled dishes. Each programme phase includes dishwashing, intermediate rinse, final rinse, and drying stages. Temperature settings vary between 45 °C and 60 °C depending on the selected programme.
- Page 9: Programme phases include prewash, dishwashing, intermediate rinse, final rinse, and drying. Self Clean is for cleaning the appliance interior. Automatic door opening during the drying phase is a feature in the basic settings. Consumption values for water, energy, and duration vary based on several factors. The pressure and temperature of the water, mains supply variations, options, quantity of dishes, and degree of soil can affect consumption values. Values for programmes other than ECO are indicative only. For performance tests, contact the manufacturer for necessary information. Basic settings can be configured according to user needs.

You cannot enter setting mode while the programme is running. Make sure the appliance is in setting mode to change a setting.
- Page 11: The water softener removes minerals from the water supply, which would have a negative effect on the washing results and on the appliance. The higher the content of these minerals, the harder your water is. Water hardness is measured in equivalent scales. The water softener should be adjusted according to the hardness of the water in your area. Set the right level of the water softener to assure good washing results. The saved settings remain valid until you change them again. Do not use salt at this level. Regardless of the type of detergent used, set the proper water hardness level to keep the salt refill indicator active. Multi-tabs containing salt are not effective enough to soften hard water. For the correct water softener operation, the resin of the softener device needs to be regenerated regularly.
- Page 12: Water softener level All the consumption values mentioned in this section are determined in line with the currently applicable standard in laboratory conditions with water hardness 2.5mmol/L. The pressure and the temperature of water as well as the variations of the mains supply can change the values. The rinse aid helps to dry the dishes without streaks and stains. When the rinse aid chamber is empty, the rinse aid indicator turns on. For best drying performance, always use rinse aid. Regeneration initiation has no impact on the cycle duration, unless it occurs in the middle of a programme or at the end of a programme with a short drying phase. You can activate an acoustic signal that sounds when the programme is completed. This activity increases the total water consumption of a programme by additional 4 litres and the total energy consumption of a programme by additional 2 Wh. Dry Assist improves the drying results. Each performed softener rinse may prolong the programme duration by another 5 minutes.
- Page 13: Caution: If children have access to the appliance, deactivate Dry Assist to avoid danger from automatic door opening. Key tones: The control panel buttons make a click sound that can be deactivated. Latest programme selection: The appliance can automatically select the most recently used programme and options. Dry Assist is activated with all programmes, affecting the duration of the drying phase and door opening time. The latest completed programme is saved and selected automatically after the appliance is activated. When Dry Assist opens the door, the display shows the remaining time of the running programme. Caution: Do not try to close the appliance door within 2 minutes after automatic opening to prevent damage. Before first use: Ensure the water softener level matches the hardness of the water supply and adjust if necessary. Fill the salt container with regeneration salt specifically for dishwashers, not kitchen salt. Start the programme to remove any residuals from the manufacturing process without using detergent or dishes.
- Page 14: Caution: The compartment is for rinse aid only. Do not fill it with detergent. Only use rinse aid designed specifically for dishwashers. Press the release button to open the lid. Pour the rinse aid in the dispenser until the liquid reaches the fill level 'max'. Remove the spilled rinse aid with an absorbent cloth to prevent excessive foam formation. Close the lid and ensure that the release button locks into position. You can turn the selector of the released quantity between position 1 and position 4 or 6. Water and salt can come out of the salt container when you fill it. To prevent corrosion, fill the salt container and then immediately start a complete dishwashing cycle with detergent. Open the water tap.
- Page 15: Activate applicable options if desired. Close the appliance door to start the programme. Fill the salt container if it is empty. Fill the rinse aid dispenser if it is empty. Load the baskets. By default, options must be activated every time before you start a programme. Not all options are compatible with each other. Activating options often increases the water and energy consumption as well as the programme duration. For information about the detergent dosage, refer to the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging of the product. The appliance senses the type of load and adjusts a suitable wash cycle.
- Page 16: Opening the door while a programme is running stops the appliance and may affect energy consumption and programme duration. After closing the door, the appliance continues from the point of interruption. Press repeatedly until the display shows the desired delay time (from 1 to 24 hours). Close the appliance door to start the countdown; it is not possible to change the delay time and programme selection during the countdown. If the door is opened for more than 30 seconds during the drying phase, the running programme ends. The Auto Off function saves energy by switching the appliance off when it is not operating. When the programme is complete, the display shows 0:00. Make sure that there is detergent in the detergent dispenser before starting a new programme. Do not pre-rinse dishes by hand as it increases water and energy consumption. Washing dishes in the dishwasher usually consumes less water and energy than washing by hand.
- Page 17: You can use dishwasher detergent, rinse aid, and salt separately or use multi-tablets. Increased quantity of salt in the water might result in rust on cutlery. Select a programme according to the type of load and the degree of soil for efficient water and energy consumption. To prevent limescale buildup, set the highest level of the water softener and ensure the salt and rinse aid containers are full. Only use products designed for dishwashers to avoid damage. In areas with hard water, use basic dishwasher detergent, rinse aid, and salt separately for optimal results. Before starting a programme, ensure the filters are clean, the cap of the salt container is tight, and the spray arms are not clogged. Always use the correct quantity of detergent to avoid poor cleaning results or detergent residues. Load the baskets efficiently and only wash dishwasher-safe items.
- Page 18: Make sure that glasses do not touch each other. First remove items from the lower basket, then from the upper basket. Put light or plastic items in the upper basket. After the programme is completed, water can still remain on the inside surfaces of the appliance. Put cutlery and small items in the cutlery basket. Let the tableware cool down before you remove it from the appliance. Before any maintenance other than running the programme Self Clean, deactivate the appliance and disconnect the mains plug from the main socket. Dirty filters and clogged spray arms negatively affect the washing results. Self Clean is a programme designed to clean the appliance interior with optimal results. Check the filters and the sump after each use of the dishwasher.
- Page 19: Caution regarding foreign objects in the appliance. Contact an authorized service center if unable to remove foreign objects. Instructions for disassembling the filter system are provided. Manual removal of foreign objects is necessary. Reassembly of the filters should follow the provided instructions. The filter system consists of three parts. Cleaning the appliance requires a moist soft cloth and neutral detergents. Avoid using abrasive products, cleaning pads, or solvents. Ensure no food residues are present around the edge of the sump. Proper positioning of the flat filter under the guides is essential.
- Page 20: Put back the filter in the flat filter. Wash the spray arm under running water. Use a thin pointed tool to remove particles of soil from the holes. An incorrect position of the filters can cause bad washing results and damage to the appliance. We recommend cleaning the lower spray arm regularly to prevent soil from clogging the holes. Clogged holes can cause unsatisfactory washing results. Do not remove the upper spray arm. Improper repair of the appliance may pose a danger to the safety of the user. Any repairs must be performed by qualified personnel. Refer to the below table for information on possible problems.
- Page 21: Problem and alarm code Possible cause and solution You cannot activate the appliance. Make sure that the mains plug is connected to the mains socket. Make sure that there is no damaged fuse in the fuse box. The programme does not start. Make sure that the appliance door is closed. If the delay start is set, cancel the setting or wait for the end of the countdown. The appliance does not fill with water. The display shows i10 or i11. Make sure that the water tap is open. Make sure that the pressure of the water supply is not too low. The appliance does not drain the water. The display shows i20. Make sure that the sink spigot is not clogged. The anti-flood device is on. The display shows i30. Close the water tap. Malfunction of the water level detection sensor. Make sure that the filters are clean.
- Page 22: Problem and alarm code Possible cause and solution The programme lasts too long. If the delay start option is set, cancel the delay setting or wait for the end of the countdown. Activating options can increase the programme duration. The displayed programme duration is different than the duration in the consumption values table. The pressure and the temperature of the water, the variations of the mains supply, the options, the quantity of dishes and the degree of soil can change the programme duration. The remaining time in the display increases and skips nearly to the end of the programme duration. This is not a defect. The appliance is working correctly. Small leak from the appliance door. The appliance is not levelled. Loosen or tighten the adjustable feet. The appliance door is not centred on the tub. Adjust the rear foot. The appliance door is difficult to close. Parts of the tableware are protruding from the baskets. The appliance door opens during the wash cycle. The Dry Assist function is activated. You can deactivate the function. Rattling or knocking sounds from the inside of the appliance. The tableware is not properly arranged in the baskets. Make sure that the spray arms can rotate freely. The appliance trips the circuit-breaker. The amperage is insufficient to supply simultaneously all the appliances in use. Internal electrical fault of the appliance. Contact an Authorised Service Centre. We do not recommend using the appliance until the problem has been completely fixed. For alarm codes not described in the table, contact an Authorised Service Centre.
- Page 23: The dishwashing and drying results are not satisfactory. Poor washing results can be improved by using a more intensive washing programme and cleaning spray arm jets and filters. Activate the Dry Assist function to improve drying performance. Ensure there is sufficient rinse aid and adjust the dosage as necessary. Plastic items may require towel drying. Whitish streaks or bluish layers on glasses may indicate too high a rinse aid dosage. Stains and dry water drops on dishes can result from insufficient rinse aid or excessive detergent. Unusual foam during washing is not a defect; it is due to humidity condensation. Traces of rust on cutlery may be caused by too much salt in the washing water or by placing silver and stainless steel items together. Residues of detergent in the dispenser may occur if the detergent tablet is stuck or if spray arms are blocked.
- Page 24: Odours inside the appliance may be resolved by referring to Internal cleaning or starting the Self Clean programme with a descaler or a cleaning product designed for dishwashers. Limescale deposits can occur due to low salt levels, a loose salt container cap, or hard tap water. It's important to use salt and set regeneration of the water softener even when using multi-functional tablets. If limescale deposits persist, clean the appliance with suitable detergents or try a different detergent. Dull, discoloured, or chipped tableware may result from washing non-dishwasher-safe items or improper loading. Delicate items should be placed in the upper basket, and options for special care for glassware should be activated.
