Problem
Possible cause and remedy
There are rust stains on The affected items are not corrosion resistant.
cutlery.
There is no remedy.
Purchase cutlery which is dishwasher safe.
A programme was not run after dishwasher salt was
added. Traces of salt have got into the normal wash
cycle.
Immediately after filling the salt container and each
time you remove the salt container cap, run the
Rinse salt programme without load items in the
dishwasher to dissolve and remove any traces of
salt from the wash cabinet.
The salt reservoir cap has not been screwed on
correctly.
Replace it, making sure that it screws back on
correctly.
