Installation
The dishwasher is supplied with a 3/8"
diameter inlet (with a UNEF 9/16" – 24
female threaded nut) and requires an
on-site water connection with 3/8"
compression fitting and shut-off valve. If
this type of faucet is not available, only a
qualified installer may connect the dish-
washer to the drinking water supply.
Risk of damage due to excessive
pressure.
A brief increase in the water pressure
can damage components of the dish-
washer.
This dishwasher must only be oper-
ated when it is connected to a fully
vented plumbing system.
A backflow preventer is not required.
The appliance meets the requirements
of the applicable DIN standards.
Risk of damage from leaking wa-
ter.
The water connection pressure needs to
be between 7.25 and 145 psi (50 and
1,000 kPa). If the water connection
pressure is too high, a pressure reducing
valve must be installed.
The water inlet hose is under water
pressure.
The water inlet hose must not be
shortened or damaged in any way.
Risk to health and risk of damage
due to damaged power cord or water
inlet hose
Damage to the power cord or water
inlet hose can lead to electric shocks
or water damage.
Do not place the dishwasher on the
water inlet hose. The water inlet hose
must be free of kinks and able to
move freely after installation. Do not
install the water inlet hose or the
power cord next to a heat source,
such as a hot water pipe. Do not ex-
pose the water inlet hose or the
power cord to corrosive substances
(such as chloride).
Risk of damage from leaking wa-
ter.
The connection point is subject to
water pressure. Water leaking from it
can cause damage.
You should therefore open the faucet
slowly and check for leaks. Correct
the position of the seal and screw
thread if appropriate.
