Problem
Possible cause and solution
The display shows the
following message:
Fault F: Technical fault.
Switch the appliance off and
back on again. Read the
Operating Instructions for
additional details.
There is a fault in the AutoDos or the PowerDisk
holder has not been inserted.
Turn off the dishwasher.
If necessary, remove the PowerDisk holder and
reinsert it (see “Automatic dispensing/AutoDos”
under “Detergent”).
Turn the dishwasher back on and restart the pro-
gram.
The alarm tone might
sound.
If the fault message appears again, there is a techni-
cal fault. However, you can continue using your dish-
washer by removing the PowerDisk holder again and
reinserting it. After closing the lid, deactivate Auto-
Dos in the Extras menu of a program and manually
dispense the detergent via the detergent compart-
ment (see “Manual detergent dispensing” under “De-
tergent”).
If you wish to use AutoDos again, contact Miele
Customer Service.
At the end of the pro-
gram, the alarm tone
No or an empty PowerDisk has been inserted or the
AutoDos is blocked by residual detergent. Detergent
might sound and the dis- dosage is insufficient.

Clean the AutoDos (see “Cleaning the AutoDos”
under “Detergent”).
Insert a full PowerDisk and close the AutoDos lid.
Clean the lower spray arm (see “Cleaning the spray
arms” under “Cleaning and care”).
Select OK to confirm each message.
Activate the AutoDos function by confirming the
message AutoDos available using OK.
Restart the program.
