The drain hose must be correctly fitted in order to prevent water leaks. It should be
connected at a height of no more than 1.1 m (maximum) and secured with a hose
clip (Fig. 6 and Fig. 7).
If you need to drain any excess water from hoses and the sink is higher than 1.1 m
from the floor, you will need to drain the excess water into a bowl or container held
underneath the pipe and lower than the sink.
If you need a drain hose extension, make sure to use a similar hose that is no longer
than 4 metres, otherwise the cleaning effect of the dishwasher could be reduced.
