Water leakage  
AE  
• Turn off the water supply to the dishwasher and call an LG Electronics Customer  
Information Center at 1-800-243-0000 (U.S.A.) or 1-888-542-2623 (Canada).  
• The dishwasher makes an alert sound for 10 seconds, and runs the drain pump  
intermittently. If power is turned off to the machine, the machine powers back on  
automatically until the AE error is resolved.  
Excessive Water supplied.

The Download Cycle is selected.

• This is not an error code. This code indicates the current Download Cycle.  
Test mode is selected.

• This is not an error code. This code is used when testing the dishwasher. Power the unit off  
and on and the code will disappear.

Rinse aid level setting mode is selected.  
LO, L1, Lz, L3, L4  
HO, H1, Hz, H3, H4  
CL  
• This is not an error code. This code indicates the current rinse aid level. For more  
information, refer to the Adding Cleaning Products section.  
Softener Hardness Level setting mode is selected.  
• This is not an error code. This code indicates the current softener hardness level. For more  
information, refer to the Setting the Water Softening System section.  
Control Lock is activated.  
• This is not an error code. This code indicates that the control lock is activated. Press and  
hold Delay Start for three seconds.

Trouble connecting  
appliance and  
smartphone to Wi-Fi  
network  
The password for the Wi-Fi network was entered incorrectly.  
• Delete your home Wi-Fi network and begin the connection process again.  
Mobile data for your smartphone is turned on.  
• Turn off the Mobile data on your smartphone before connecting the appliance.
