Installation
Leveling and securing the dishwasher
Depending on the undercounter situation,
the stainless steel cover plate supplied can
be attached to the lower edge of the coun-
tertop. The stainless steel cover plate pro-
tects the lower edge of the countertop
against steam damage.
To guarantee stability, the dishwasher must
be secured to the countertop after leveling.
Moving the dishwasher’s installation
site
Before moving the dishwasher, screw in the
adjustable feet fully so that they do not get
damaged.
Component damage caused by carry-
ing.
Do not lift the dishwasher by any protrud-
ing components, e.g., the control panel.
These parts could break off.
Do not hold onto protruding components
when moving the dishwasher.
After leveling, secure the dishwasher to
the continuous countertop.
With the door open, screw into the coun-
tertop through the holes in the front trim
on the left- and right-hand sides of the
dishwasher.
Damage caused by transportation us-
ing a hand truck.
Using a hand truck to subsequently move
the dishwasher may cause damage to the
machine.
Only transport the dishwasher on a hand
truck in its original packaging. For subse-
quent moves, the dishwasher must be
placed on a continuous base to avoid
damage.
With stainless steel or stone countertops,
the dishwasher must be secured at the
sides to the left and right adjacent cabinetry
with two screws on each side.
Special screws (4 x 27/Torx T20) are sup-
plied in the accessories companion pack.
Holes must be drilled in the side wall in front
of the door seal for these.
In the case of undercounter dishwashers,
the holes are already provided in the side
walls.
The gaps between undercounter dishwash-
ers and adjacent cabinets or machines must
not be filled with silicone sealant as this
could compromise the ventilation of the cir-
culation pump.
