Cleaning the flat and micro-fine filters
Cleaning the spray arms
Remove the coarse filter as described be-
fore.
The dishwasher has three different spray
arms.
Particles of food can get stuck in the spray
arm jets and bearings. The spray arms
should therefore be checked and cleaned
regularly.
Turn off the dishwasher.
Pull the upper spray arm downward to re-
move it.
The middle and bottom spray arms are se-
cured with a bayonet fitting.
The middle spray arm is marked with the
symbol and the lower spray arm is
marked with the symbol to avoid mixing
up the spray arms when they are removed.
Grasp the micro-fine filter by the upper rim
and turn it in the direction of the arrow to
release it.
Then lift it out.
To release the bayonet fitting proceed as fol-
lows:
Using the knurled nut, turn the middle
spray arm to the left as far as it will go and
then pull the spray arm downward to re-
move it.
Remove the lower basket.
Remove the flat filter.
Rinse the filters under running water. If
necessary, use a soft cleaning brush to re-
move dirt.
Replace the filter combination in the reverse
order, turning the micro-fine filter to the left
to re-engage it.
The flat filter must lie flat in the bottom of
the wash cabinet.
Using the knurled nut turn the lower spray
arm to the right as far as it will go and then
pull the spray arm upward to remove it.
The spray arms may get blocked if the fil-
ters are not replaced correctly.
Ensure that the filters are positioned cor-
rectly.
